Clubhouse

The recently and beautifully restored clubhouse boasts an attractive interior to match the grace of the 1910 pre-war building. Original master craftsmanship of pine floors, vaulted ceiling woodwork and carved decorative plasterwork grace the two Ballrooms. Cozy lounge areas showcasing a handsome copper bar top, an expanded main dining room, and classic locker rooms combine the familiar comforts of home with a country club atmosphere of modern amenities, while resonating to the natural beauty of the golden age.
 
The Indoor Learning Center is equipped with a dynamic putting green, state of the art technology, five training bays, a TrackMan simulator, custom club fitting, and flexible coaching programs with our dedicated Professional staff. Golf events, TrackMan Leagues, Paddle Tennis parties, Socials and Mixers take place in the Indoor Practice Center throughout the winter to provide a 365 day experience.

Outdoor Pool

Our professionally staffed Outdoor Swimming Pool & Toddler’s Pool is situated right outside the main dining room. With a spacious deck, shady pergola, bar, and table settings, you’ll enjoy summer lunches and dinners, all within view of the range. The bar & dining area provides cool drinks both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, hand-tossed pizzas, burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches and savory salads between swims. Showers, changing rooms and lockers complete the perfect setting for summer days with family and friends at Maketewah. Organized Youth Swim Team and Swim Programs available for kids’ participation.

Platform Tennis

Three outdoor heated Platform Tennis courts, a cozy firepit area, plenty of tournament viewing, a patio area, and indoor lounge in the Practice Center all add to fun and exciting Platform Tennis experience. Members and guests brave the elements on the most frigid of winter days with this popular and growing winter sport at Mak, whether playing competitively, socially, or as a family. Men’s & Women’s Mak Instructional Clinics & League play with the Greater Cincinnati Tennis Platform Association run October-March.

Bowling at Mak

One of only a few club alleys in the city, Maketewah’s six-lane, retro-cool wooden Bowling Alley is an endearing member favorite for private parties and club events alike. Bowling Leagues are organized during each golf off-season, and the Full Bar/Party Room is open for Members and their guests to book events year-round.
