 Maketewah´s Practice Facilities are Best in Region. Continuing the Clubs Mission to become the most Golf-Centric Full Service Country Club in Greater Cincinnati.
Maketewah´s Second Century Improvements Include:
- A Best in Region Short-Game Practice Facility on ten acres featuring four par three holes with bent grass fairways, bunkered target greens, and an 8,000 sq ft putting/chipping green allowing endless practice and short-game refinements for all skill levels.
- A 10,000 sq ft Indoor Practice Center & Golf Academy featuring a 3,500 sq ft putting/chipping green and four heated hitting bays opening onto the Short-Game Practice Area. Maketewah and Xavier University partnered to develop this wonderful practice facility... enjoyed by Mak's members and home to XU´s men´s and women´s NCAA D1 Golf Program.
- An expanded Driving Range & Practice Facility featuring bent grass tees, Ultimate Practice Turf, bunkered target greens, and a Cobra-Puma Regional Fitting Center with state of the art fitting and teaching technology.
- Master Plan enhancements also include improvements to holes 4, 5, & 10 by renowned golf course architect Brian Silva. Along with new heated Platform Tennis Courts featuring an adjacent 2,500 sq ft patio with stone firepit and grilling area.

 Everyone aspires to have at least a little fun and play in their life. At Maketewah, our members have a place that lets them do just that
- play through life.
Maketewah is one of the premiere private country clubs in the Midwest. Our stately and elegant clubhouse was completed in 1930 and serves as the social center for Maketewah´s outgoing and supportive membership.
Our championship golf course was originally designed by Tom Bendelow and later redesigned and refined by Donald Ross and is rated among the very finest in the area. The beautifully manicured, tree lined layout winds through hills and valleys and features bent-grass tees, fairways and greens. We also boast the largest number of single digit handicaps in Ohio as well as a full practice range and two bunker putting/chipping greens.
In addition to golf, Maketewah helps its members play through life in other ways thanks to our state-of-the art dining, tennis courts, Olympic-sized swimming pool and even a bowling alley. Not to mention, we host several events each month that are perfect for socializing with fellow members. So, no matter how you choose to play through life, we’ve got you covered.
